Genuine Nissan Remote Start Systems

Eleven of the listings here are complete remote engine start kits, and each one is built for a specific model and generation. The newer kits start the vehicle from up to 295 feet away. The earlier kits run the engine for 10 minutes with normal use, and up to 20 minutes with the extended time feature. Nissan lists them as dealer-installed.

Kits by model

The current lineup is well covered. T99K1-6TA4B fits the 2024-2026 Rogue, including the 2026 Rogue Plug-in Hybrid. T99K1-6TA0C fits the 2024-2026 Pathfinder, and T99K1-9BU0A fits the 2022-2026 Frontier. For the 2016-2020 Pathfinder, 999K1-X4000 is listed without power liftgate on a 4-button fob. 999K1-X7000 covers the 2019-2020 Pathfinder SV and requires key programming. 999K1-U4001 fits the 2016-2018 Altima 2.5, 2.5S and SR without a factory hood lock switch.

TITAN and TITAN XD are separate kits

The trucks need the most care. The TITAN and the TITAN XD use different kits, and the number changes by model year. 999K1-W8000 is listed for the 2017-2022 TITAN crew cab and king cab without the factory option, and 999K1-W7010 is the XD version. For 2023-2024 the kits become T99K1-W8010 for the TITAN (non-XD) and T99K1-W7020 for the TITAN XD. The VIN settles it.

Fobs and hood latches

A vehicle with remote start from the factory uses its own versions of some parts. Keyless entry transmitter 285E3-6LS5A for the 2023-2025 Altima is marked with remote start, and hood latch 65601-6MA0A for the 2017-2022 Rogue Sport is marked the same way. The hood latch matters because it tells the system when the hood is open. When you replace a lost fob or a damaged latch on one of these vehicles, order the remote start version, or the feature may stop working.

Why genuine
